Can I match or reproduce a paint colour from another brand?

An exact reproduction is difficult to achieve through colour matching. Every paint brand works with its own bases, pigments and formulations, all of which influence the final colour and its appearance. Even small differences in undertone, warmth, coolness and pigmentation can noticeably affect how a colour appears, how it responds to changing light and how it interacts with surrounding colours. The same colour reference taken to five different paint suppliers may produce five slightly different results. We strongly recommend choosing the original colour from the brand that developed it. If you have found a particular shade you love, using its original formulation is the most reliable way to achieve the intended result.
