Applications

Blēo offers tiles suitable for a range of wall and floor applications, depending on the collection. Not all tiles are designed for floor use. Suitability depends on factors including material strength, surface finish, slip resistance and expected traffic. Before specifying tiles for a floor, please consult the technical information for the selected product or contact Blēo for guidance.

Many Blēo tiles are suitable for bathroom walls and other areas exposed to humidity. Suitability for shower enclosures, wet zones and bathroom floors depends on the specific collection, material, finish and installation system. Tiles and grout are not substitutes for a waterproofing membrane. Wet areas must be prepared and waterproofed according to applicable building requirements. Please confirm the intended application before ordering.

Yes. Many Blēo tiles are suitable for kitchen walls and splashbacks, where glazed surfaces offer a practical and visually distinctive finish. For areas exposed to cooking oils, food stains and frequent cleaning, the choice of material, glaze and grout is particularly important. We recommend selecting a finish appropriate to the expected use and following the maintenance instructions for the collection.

Certain tile materials may be suitable for outdoor applications, but suitability must be assessed individually. Important considerations include frost resistance, water absorption, slip resistance, climate and the installation system. Not all Blēo tiles are frost-resistant or intended for exterior use. Please contact us with details of the location and application before specifying tiles outdoors.

Yes. Blēo's tiles can be specified for commercial and hospitality interiors, subject to the technical requirements of the chosen collection. For high-traffic floors, wet areas and other demanding environments, material performance, cleaning requirements and slip resistance should be evaluated carefully. Our team can assist with selecting suitable materials and providing technical information for professional projects.
