Café Dallas, Copenhagen
Café Dallas will soon open its second location on Victor Borges Plads in Østerbro, carrying the spirit of their much-loved first spot — awarded five stars by Danish daily newspaper Politiken — into a new neighbourhood. Known for serving carefully considered coffee, breakfast and lunch, Dallas blends a relaxed everyday culture with a sharp eye for detail.
In the new space, an entire wall is covered with Tiles by Muller Van Severen — a composition of Curry, Dark Blue, Ivory and Rust; earthy ochres, deep blues, soft whites and brick reds. Their glossy, irregular surfaces catch the daylight and reflect the hum of the café, forming a vibrant backdrop to the raw, pared-down interiors. The mix of rustic textures, neon lighting and natural plywood creates an atmosphere that feels both unpolished and precise.
More than a surface, the tiled wall anchors the café’s visual identity, setting a tone that is contemporary, tactile and unmistakably Dallas.
