Stefan Scholten approaches design through the lens of the studio — working with a thinking-hand methodology that involves drawing, building paper models, and hand-mixing colours. The Atelier palette draws inspiration from the tools, materials, and objects that surround him daily. Referencing existing products and studio textures, the 14 colours are designed to interact effortlessly with interior materials such as porcelain, textiles, and wood. Each shade balances clarity with warmth, offering a palette that is just as compelling on its own as it is in composition. Together, the colours create a harmonious yet vivid environment, rooted in process, materiality, and everyday beauty.
