Samples and ordering

Yes. Tile samples are available for most of our collections and can be ordered directly through our website. For selected collections, samples are available upon request. This will be indicated on the individual product page. We recommend ordering samples before making a final selection, particularly when working with handmade materials or choosing between different finishes. Viewing tiles in the intended space allows you to assess colour, texture and reflection under natural and artificial lighting. All our tiles can be viewed in our Copenhagen showroom. Please contact us in advance, and we will be happy to arrange a viewing. For larger projects or specific sample requirements, our team can assist.

We generally recommend ordering at least 10% additional tiles to allow for cutting, installation waste and future repairs. This is particularly important for handmade tiles, where natural variations in dimensions, edges and surfaces may require additional selection during installation. Projects involving diagonal layouts, intricate patterns or areas with numerous cuts may require a larger allowance. The appropriate quantity also depends on the tile format, layout and characteristics of the material. We recommend confirming the final quantity with your installer before placing an order.

Yes. Most of our tiles are made to order by our specialist workshops in Europe and Morocco. Production times vary depending on the collection, workshop, quantity and any bespoke requirements, typically ranging from approximately 10 days to 4–6 weeks. Estimated production times are indicated on the individual product pages or confirmed when preparing a quotation. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination. For projects with a fixed installation deadline, we recommend contacting our team before placing an order so we can advise on production and delivery timelines.

Bespoke options are available for selected Blēo tile collections. Depending on the material and workshop, possibilities may include alternative dimensions, colours, surface treatments or project-specific production. Customisation is subject to technical feasibility, minimum order quantities and production requirements. Yes. Blēo works with architects, interior designers and other creative professionals on residential, commercial and architectural projects of different scales. For larger orders, we can assist with material selection, samples, quantities, technical information, production planning and delivery coordination. We recommend contacting our team at an early stage to discuss the project's requirements, quantities and timeline, allowing us to coordinate with the relevant workshop and advise on the available options.
