Paint Sample Pots

Blēo’s paint sample pots provide a direct way to test colour in your own space. Each 80 ml sample contains the same formulation as the final paint, available in our MATTE finish, allowing you to experience colour and surface in real conditions. Each sample pot contains sufficient paint to apply multiple coats to a test surface, enabling an accurate evaluation of both colour and finish before committing to a full application. Available in all Blēo colours.

How to use

1. Select

Choose your colours from the Blēo collection and order sample pots directly from each colour page. Add your selections to the basket and place your order for delivery, or collect them from our Copenhagen studio.

2. Apply

Apply two coats of paint to a separate sheet of paper or card, or directly onto the surface you intend to paint. Painting a square or circle on the wall helps you understand how the hue interacts with surrounding colours, materials, and the overall interior.

3. Observe

If applied to paper or card, place the samples within the room and move them around to see how the colour responds to changing light conditions throughout the day. If applied directly to the surface, observe how the colour and pigments interact with the light in your space. Both methods provide valuable insight into how the colour will perform.

Application guidance

Testing on paper or card allows for flexibility and easy comparison, while applying directly to the surface provides a more integrated understanding of the final result.
