Fredericia Furniture — Showroom, Stockholm

In a historic building in central Stockholm, Fredericia Furniture has opened its new Swedish home, a calm, light-filled showroom that celebrates material honesty and enduring design.

Known for its uncompromising craftsmanship and lineage of modern Danish furniture, Fredericia has long defined the dialogue between heritage and innovation. In the Stockholm space, that dialogue continues through a carefully composed interior, where each surface and finish contributes to a sense of quiet permanence.

Throughout the showroom, walls are painted in CE MA 03 Washi by Cecilie Manz for Blēo, a tone inspired by the soft texture and translucency of handmade Japanese paper. Subtle and tactile, the colour lends warmth to daylight and depth to Fredericia’s natural materials — oak, leather, wool, and steel — allowing the furniture to appear grounded yet gently illuminated.

The collaboration between Fredericia and Blēo continues an ongoing relationship rooted in shared values: material integrity, craftsmanship, and an understated architectural sensibility. Together, they explore how colour can support atmosphere — not as decoration, but as a quiet structure that shapes how we see, move, and feel within a space.
