1 L of our paint covers approximately:

— 9 m2, when painted in one layer
— 4,5 m2, when painted in two layers
— 3 m2, when painted in three layers

We recommend to use primer beneath your paint, when necessary. Read our guide here on when to use primer. Otherwise, two layers of paint are enough for the main part of our colours, unless otherwise stated above, in our product description.

Island by Cecilie Manz

Inspired by visits in nature, from the islands to the deserts — raw materials and minerals, reflections of light and subtle tones.

Portrait of designer Cecilie Manz for Scandinavian colour and design house, Blēo.

Cecilie Manz is based in Copenhagen, working from a serenely lit studio hidden in the belly of the city centre. After graduation from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design in 1997, Cecilie Manz founded her own studio in Copenhagen in 1998. Her designs for furniture, tableware, lighting and electronics draw on the Danish design tradition, yet have their own kind of poetry and voice. In addition to industrially manufactured products, experimental prototypes and sculptural one-offs remain an important part of her practice and approach.
