Colour Crush by blomus — German design brand at 3daysofdesign 2025

Founded in 1961 as a family business, blomus is rooted in the German tradition of craftsmanship and material honesty. With a focus on clean forms and a restrained, nature-inspired palette, the brand has developed a distinctive design language that balances clarity with warmth. Over the years, blomus has collaborated with a range of internationally recognised designers, contributing to a portfolio that continues to evolve while staying true to its values.

During 3daysofdesign 2025, blomus presented a selection of new designs in a central Copenhagen location, directly opposite the Designmuseum. The exhibition featured collaborations with designers including Kazushige Miyake (JP), Sebastian Herkner (DE), Adam Miller (US), Theresa Rand (DE/DK), and kaschkasch (DE).

To complement the architectural setting and reinforce the brand’s tonal universe, blomus selected interior paint from Blēo, using colours from the Chronicles palette — a collection of 24 nuanced shades developed by Swedish design studio Halleroed. The palette’s balance of earthy, muted, and bold tones offered a refined backdrop to the exhibition’s material and design focus.
