How do I install, grout and seal Blēo Essentials Raw Lava Stone tiles?

Blēo Essentials Raw Lava Stone tiles are made from natural volcanic basalt, characterised by variations in colour, mineral markings, texture and porosity. We recommend professional installation by an experienced natural stone installer. Before installation, inspect the tiles and mix pieces from different boxes to distribute natural variations evenly. The substrate must be clean, dry, level and structurally sound. Use a high-quality adhesive suitable for natural stone.

Before grouting, protect the tiles with a suitable penetrating sealer or grout release treatment to prevent grout pigments from being absorbed into the stone. A grout colour close to the stone creates a more continuous surface, while contrasting grout emphasises the individual tiles. Remove excess grout promptly. After installation, seal the tiles with a penetrating sealer suitable for natural volcanic stone. This reduces water absorption and improves stain resistance without changing the stone's natural appearance. Periodic resealing may be necessary depending on use.
