A Family Home in Denmark
This family home in Denmark brings together colours from several Blēo collections to create an interior defined by warmth, materiality and subtle tonal variation. Rather than relying on a single palette, the project combines complementary colours that establish a calm architectural framework while allowing each room to develop its own character.
Throughout the home, carefully composed paint colours work alongside natural timber, textiles and changing daylight, creating interiors that feel cohesive without becoming uniform. Soft neutrals are balanced with muted greens, richer accents and more expressive tones, demonstrating how colours from different designer collections can be combined within one architectural setting.
The project features HA RO 16 Pale, HA RO 17 Mercer Street and HA RO 19 Quai Voltaire by Halleroed, DA RY 05 Workshop by Daniel Rybakken, and Plate 06 from the Josef Albers Color Interactions collection. Together, the palette illustrates Blēo's approach to architectural colour, where individual hues are selected for the relationships they create rather than used in isolation.
The result is a home where colour quietly supports architecture and everyday life, creating spaces that feel timeless, personal and deeply connected through light, material and proportion.
