Detached House in Vanløse, Denmark

Located in a detached brick house in Vanløse, Copenhagen, this family home demonstrates how a carefully composed paint palette can unify an interior while allowing each room to develop its own identity. Halleroed's Chronicles collection is used throughout the renovation, with individual colours assigned to different spaces to create subtle variation within a cohesive architectural framework.

HA RO 17 Mercer Street establishes a calm foundation across the main living areas, while HA RO 08 Lemon Peel introduces warmth in the kitchen. HA RO 24 Baby Blue highlights the staircase, creating a gentle transition between floors, and HA RO 21 Pistachio brings a softer character to one of the upstairs rooms. Selected ceilings, original doors, timber joinery and steel beams are finished in HIGH GLOSS using HA RO 03 Paris Red, adding depth and contrast to the restrained material palette.

Oak flooring, stainless steel and original timber details remain central to the renovation, with colour carefully integrated as part of the architecture rather than applied as decoration. Together, the palette demonstrates how different paint colours can define individual spaces while creating continuity throughout an entire home.
