BU ST 08 Yard Wheat by Bunn Studio

This tone brings the outdoors inside, inspired by the quiet charm of urban backyards — like those in Mexico City — where wild wheat grass grows between paving stones. It also recalls the soft, raw hues of stripped-back wood moldings in old Copenhagen apartments, revealing traces of colour from centuries past.

Peregrination by Bunn Studio

“Peregrination” speaks to a sense of longing — for places that feel like home. Not just our current homes, but also those we've left behind, and even the fleeting places that offered a sense of ease and familiarity.

The colour palette is a visual map, marking the places Bunn Studio feel deeply connected to: from growing up in Copenhagen, where light defines the environment, to the contrasting warmth and density of colours experienced during years spent in New York. It also captures fleeting moments from travels around the world — memories they have carried home in hopes of recreating that feeling.

To create a palette that feels like home, Bunn Studio focused on warm, inviting tones. The balance lies in blending neutral hues with bolder accents — colours that feel both grounding and expressive.

Bunn Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Louise Sigvardt and Marcus Hannibal. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in fashion, textiles, woodworking, and industrial design, the studio blends craftsmanship with a contemporary design sensibility. Originally established in Copenhagen, Bunn Studio is now based in San Francisco, following several years in New York.

Their work bridges traditional techniques and modern materials, encouraging a fresh perspective on everyday utilitarian objects. Rooted in a deep appreciation for texture, form, and the aesthetics of the home, Bunn Studio creates materially driven pieces that are rich in personality and purpose. Their designs are marked by a quiet technical sophistication—refined, thoughtful, and seemingly effortless.

Bunn Studio brings a rare fluency across disciplines. With an intuitive grasp of form, color, and textile geometry, they consistently push creative and material boundaries, seeking new and more refined ways of making. Their clients include Radnor, Kvadrat, Marimekko, Everlane, and Brdr. Krüger, among others.
