A warm, classical beige inspired by sand. Soft, grounded and slightly sun-washed, this glaze settles gently into the surface of Italian clay, revealing a natural warmth with subtle tonal variation. Inspired by walls and surfaces shaped by time and light in Italian botteghe, it brings a quiet sense of ease, with a tone that feels open, calm and softly enduring.
Single tiles are available in 10×10 cm, with additional formats on view in our Copenhagen showroom. Orders are priced per m² and produced in Italy, with lead times of 2–8 weeks. Bespoke solutions are available on request at an additional cost of approximately 10%.

    Tiles by Formafantasma

Tiles by Formafantasma translate the colours of the La Bottega Italiana paint palette into a collection of eight ceramic tiles. Browns define the collection, ranging from dry clay and toasted wood to darker shades recalling walnut, coffee and lacquered timber. A limited number of accent colours extend the palette without disrupting its overall balance. Conceived as an architectural colour system, the tiles are intended to be combined across walls, floors and surfaces rather than used as individual statements.

Founded in 2009 by Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, Formafantasma is an Italian design studio working between Milan and Rotterdam. Known for its research-driven approach, the studio explores the relationship between materials, industry and the built environment through furniture, products and exhibitions. For Blēo, Formafantasma has developed both paint and tile collections, translating its interest in colour, material and architectural surfaces into palettes and ceramic tiles designed for contemporary interiors.
