Bunn Studio

Founded by Louise Sigvardt and Marcus Hannibal, Bunn Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio established in Copenhagen and now based in San Francisco. Working across furniture, textiles, interiors and product design, the studio combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary production, exploring the relationship between colour, texture and form.

Founded in Copenhagen by Louise Sigvardt and Marcus Hannibal, Bunn Studio has established an international practice spanning furniture, textiles, interiors and product design. Today based in San Francisco, the studio works across disciplines while maintaining a consistent focus on colour, material, proportion and everyday function.

Drawing on backgrounds in fashion, textile design, woodworking and industrial design, Bunn Studio approaches each project through experimentation with materials and making. Traditional techniques are combined with contemporary production methods, allowing texture, structure and colour to become integral parts of every object rather than decorative additions.

The studio has collaborated with internationally recognised companies including Kvadrat, Marimekko, Radnor, Everlane and Brdr. Krüger. Across projects, Bunn Studio's work is characterised by clarity, restraint and a thoughtful understanding of how materials, colour and craftsmanship shape the experience of everyday objects and interiors.

For Blēo, Bunn Studio extends this approach into architectural surfaces, developing a collection that reflects the studio's interest in natural tones, tactile finishes and colours designed to work quietly within contemporary interiors.

Peregrination by Bunn Studio

“Peregrination” speaks to a sense of longing, for places that feel like home. Not just our current homes, but also those we've left behind, and even the fleeting places that offered a sense of ease and familiarity. The colour palette is a visual map, marking the places Bunn Studio feel deeply connected to: from growing up in Copenhagen, where light defines the environment, to the contrasting warmth and density of colours experienced during years spent in New York. It also captures fleeting moments from travels around the world, memories they have carried home in hopes of recreating that feeling. To create a palette that feels like home, Bunn Studio focused on warm, inviting tones. The balance lies in blending neutral hues with bolder accents,colours that feel both grounding and expressive.
