Bright, warm red with a bit of grey to give it a natural feel. Vivid and energetic. An accent colour made for graphic objects and products. Rybakken used a similar shade for the 10 year anniversary edition of his Counterbalance wall fixture for Luceplan. It puts joy into an otherwise stark, geometrical object.

DA RY 01 Studio is a clear colour, and we recommend:
To ensure the intensity of the colour, defined as a "clear colour", we are using special pure pigment to make the colour as clear and powerful as can be. These pigments often have a lower opacity, meaning they are less covering. We recommend a base colour in the same hue for the most satisfying result.
    You can order it here.

    COLOUR DIFFERENCES
There can be colour differences between one finish to another (eg. from MATTE to HIGH GLOSS), so we always recommend that you test both the colour and the finish you want before you start on your paint project.

    PRIMERS AND UNDERCOAT
Primer might look like regular white paint, but it’s thicker and contains more pigment. Think of it as a base coat, providing a foundation that ensures a flawless finish. We have gathered the most imporant primers:
    Primers and undercoat
. In general, it's usually not necessary to use primer when you are painting with our ULTRA MATTE or MATTE finishes. Our paint is of so high quality that you simply don't need a primer. If you are in doubt, please email us: bleo@bleocollective.com and we will get back to you right away.

Studio, Workshop, Home by Daniel Rybakken

Daniel Rybakken’s colour palette is a play in three parts and 12 colours—Studio, Workshop and Home. Studio contains accent colours for smaller objects that you would like to pop, while Workshop explores the natural beiges of model making; raw wooden materials, primers, and putty. Home concludes the palette with colours that are tried, tested and chosen for Daniel Rybakken’s own abode.

Daniel Rybakken set up his Studio Daniel Rybakken in Gothenburg in 2008, quickly becoming one of Scandinavia’s most versatile and singular designers. Treading a fine line between art and design when creating functional furniture, lighting and objects for clients such as Luceplan, Artek, Vitra and e15, he builds, experiments and questions the mechanics of life in the process. Rybakken’s work is often minimal with a distinctive silhouette, as he is inspired by graphic design and two-dimensional form. Particularly preoccupied with the concept of daylight, he continues to build on his research on how to reproduce its subtle effects in artificial lighting.
