Lot103 in London — a new café in the heart of Newington Green
Located in the quietly vibrant neighbourhood of Newington Green in North London, Lot103 is a new café that blends everyday hospitality with a deep attention to space and atmosphere. Known for its rich cultural history and creative community, the area has long been home to artists, writers, and designers — a fitting backdrop for a project that prioritises thoughtful design and a slower rhythm of life.
Lot103 moves through the day with a natural sense of ease — from soft mornings with brewed coffee and fresh pastries, to long afternoons, and into evenings with wine, small plates, and conversation. Every element of the interior has been considered to support this experience, from the choice of furniture to the tone of the lighting.
Founder Kirstine Meier Carlsen designed the interior to reflect both the quiet energy of the neighbourhood and the understated character of the space itself. Throughout the café, walls and ceilings are painted in various colours from Blēo in both MATTE and HIGH GLOSS finishes, forming a muted, cohesive backdrop that complements the tactile surfaces and warm materiality.
Lot103 offers a place to pause — open from early until late, designed not only for passing visits, but for staying a little longer.
