Lot103, Newington Green in London
Lot103 is a café in Newington Green, North London, designed by founder Kirstine Meier. Open throughout the day, the space combines coffee, food and wine within an interior conceived for both shorter visits and longer stays.
The interior is defined by a restrained combination of colour, furniture, lighting and tactile surfaces. Blēo paint is used throughout the café across walls, ceilings and architectural details, creating shifts in colour and finish between the different areas of the space.
A selection of Blēo colours is applied in both Matte and High Gloss. The contrast between muted, low-reflective surfaces and areas of higher sheen allows light and colour to change across the interior while maintaining a consistent palette.
The use of colour and finish forms part of the architecture of Lot103, defining individual surfaces and creating a cohesive setting within the compact London café.
