Dinesen Showroom at Søtorvet, Copenhagen

The Dinesen Showroom at Søtorvet in Copenhagen has been designed by Office Kim Lenschow as a sequence of interconnected architectural spaces centred around wood, light and changing perspectives.

Rather than a conventional showroom, the interior is organised as a series of rooms within rooms. Large sliding timber walls divide and connect the spaces, allowing the showroom to shift between exhibition, meeting and working environments.

Oak, Douglas fir and pine are used throughout, placing Dinesen’s wood at the centre of the interior. The extensive timber surfaces are balanced by walls and ceilings painted in BA OS 01 Titanium by Barber Osgerby for Blēo.

Titanium is a soft white selected to complement the warmth and variation of the wood while responding to the changing natural light across the showroom. Used across both walls and ceilings, the colour provides a consistent architectural backdrop throughout the space.
