Dinesen Showroom by Office Kim Lenschow

Located at Søtorvet in Copenhagen, the newly transformed Dinesen Showroom has been designed by Office Kim Lenschow as a sequence of architectural spaces centred around materiality, light and atmosphere. Rather than functioning as a traditional showroom, the project creates a series of rooms within rooms, offering new ways of experiencing wood through changing perspectives, scale and movement.

Large sliding timber walls divide and connect the space, allowing it to shift between exhibition, meeting and working environments. Oak, Douglas fir and pine are used throughout to create a calm and tactile interior where craftsmanship and materiality remain at the forefront.

For the walls and ceiling, Office Kim Lenschow selected BA OS 01 Titanium, a soft and illuminating white from the Barber Osgerby collection for Blēo. Chosen to complement the warmth and character of the timber, the colour provides a quiet architectural backdrop while subtly responding to changing daylight throughout the space.
