Halleroed x Blēo at Restaurant Kadeau Copenhagen
To celebrate the collaboration between Blēo and Swedish design duo Halleroed, the founders were invited for dinner at the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Kadeau Copenhagen. The occasion marked the introduction of Halleroed's Chronicles collection into the restaurant for Preservation Season 2024, where the colours became part of an ever-evolving interior that changes alongside the menu.
From the very beginning, Kadeau has been about more than food. Ceramics, furniture, music and architecture are all carefully considered elements of the experience, creating a setting where every detail contributes to the restaurant's distinct identity.
Reflecting on the collaboration, founder and head chef Nicolai Nørregaard explains:
"At Kadeau Copenhagen we change our menu twice a year, and along with this, we also update the interiors in close collaboration with Blēo and V1 Gallery. For Preservation Season 2024, we chose colours from Halleroed's Chronicles collection. Rooted in Scandinavian aesthetics, the palette combines timeless elegance with bold nuances that perfectly complement our interpretation of Nordic cuisine. The combination of Vintage Ochre, Raf and Faux Wood has created a warm counterpoint to Copenhagen's darker winter months, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests."
Throughout the restaurant, HA RO 05 Raf, HA RO 12 Faux Wood and HA RO 23 Vintage Ochre create a layered architectural palette that complements the natural materials, seasonal ingredients and quiet atmosphere that define Kadeau.
