GO HA 03 Mirror Shadow by Gonzalez Haase AAS

The Mirror surface reflects light with maximum clarity and precision, perfectly capturing the environment around it. The shadow tone draws from the sky's deepest moments, reflecting the darkening edges of day, where light begins to retreat, resulting in a rich, dark blue that evokes depth and contemplation.

GO HA 03 Mirror Shadow is a clear colour, and we recommend:
To ensure the intensity of the colour, defined as a "clear colour", we are using special pure pigment to make the colour as clear and powerful as can be. These pigments often have a lower opacity, meaning they are less covering. We recommend a base colour in the same hue for the most satisfying result. You can order it here.

Metropolitan Melange by Gonzalez Haase AAS

The Metropolitan Melange palette by Gonzalez Haase AAS is based on a correlation between the blue sky and its reflections in contemporary architectural elements. Mirror images and opalescent glass, satin stainless steel and matte aluminium, absorption properties of concrete—the chosen materials are intricately connected to today's architecture and are deeply embedded in Gonzalez Haase’s design language. By analysing the phenomena of reflection and absorption of the blue sky on these materials, Gonzalez Haase has developed a palette of 18 colours ranging from vibrant sky blues to warm concrete greys.

The process of describing each material's spectrum has been conducted methodically by selecting three tones for each material: the base colour, the shadow tone, and a highlight. These tones are intended to interact with the natural sky.

Founded by Pierre Jorge Gonzalez and Judith Haase in 1999, Gonzalez Haase AAS is a Berlin-based studio with principal practices in architecture, scenography and lighting. Early work with Richard Gluckman and Robert Wilson for the Watermill Center in New York became the first of many highly regarded projects with contemporary artists, curators and collectors. Keeping the interplay between light and architecture at the forefront of their designs, Gonzalez Haase have gained a noted reputation for their spatial concepts. Their work includes major artwork installations, luxury retail interiors, residential extensions, and conversions for industrial and art-related spaces.
