• Fence — a paint colour developed by Industrial Facility for Blēo
IN FA 08 Fence by Industrial Facility

A powerful and intense green. More of a synthetic green than one associated with nature. A green that denotes that work is taking place, a cultural signifier and visual language in its own right.

IN FA 08 Fence is a clear colour, and we recommend:
To ensure the intensity of the colour, defined as a "clear colour", we are using special pure pigment to make the colour as clear and powerful as can be. These pigments often have a lower opacity, meaning they are less covering. We recommend a base colour in the same hue for the most satisfying result. You can order it here.

COLOUR DIFFERENCES
There can be colour differences between one finish to another (eg. from MATTE to HIGH GLOSS), so we always recommend that you test both the colour and the finish you want before you start on your paint project.

PRIMERS AND UNDERCOAT
Primer might look like regular white paint, but it’s thicker and contains more pigment. Think of it as a base coat, providing a foundation that ensures a flawless finish. We have gathered the most imporant primers: Primers and undercoatIn general, it's usually not necessary to use primer when you are painting with our ULTRA MATTE or MATTE finishes. Our paint is of so high quality that you simply don't need a primer. If you are in doubt, please email us: bleo@bleocollective.com and we will get back to you right away.

London by Industrial Facility

Industrial Facility rarely see colour in isolation—it is part of something, contextual. For things in the public or urban landscape, like a road barrier, pavement or a kerb, the purpose of the 'thing' can be so strong that its colour is almost invisible. Experienced in isolation, these colours can be repurposed, finding their intrinsic value. What is thought as utilitarian or ugly can take on a beauty all its own. This sums up Industrial Facility’s 10-colour palette London: a ‘resultant’ beauty (beauty that is not created but found) reveals something that was once unseen.

London-based studio Industrial Facility was co-founded by designers Sam Hecht and Kim Colin in 2002. Their progressive approach reflects both a thoughtful consideration of form and a singular understanding of contemporary life, creating beauty out of utility in the products, furniture and exhibitions they design. Industrial Facility aspire to work for industry in a way that improves the things we live with, not setting out to produce something different but rather something better. Things that will last, be effective and give satisfaction beyond what is called for by the product and the client. Their work are held in permanent collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Centre Pompidou, Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Design Museum, London.
