Conie Vallese
Conie Vallese is an Argentinian artist and designer whose multidisciplinary practice spans sculpture, furniture and contemporary objects. Working across bronze, ceramics, glass, textiles and silver, she explores the relationship between form, colour and material through objects that balance sculptural expression with everyday function.
About
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Conie Vallese has developed a practice centred on material exploration, craftsmanship and the natural world. Flowers, landscapes and organic structures frequently inform her work, resulting in objects that combine sculptural clarity with a quiet sense of movement and tactility.
Working across furniture, objects and sculpture, Vallese moves fluidly between functional design and artistic expression. Her projects are characterised by carefully considered proportions, tactile surfaces and an ongoing dialogue between strength and fragility, precision and spontaneity.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in New York, Milan and Paris, and she has collaborated with Danish jewellery designer Orit Elhanati on a collection of sterling silver cutlery and objects. In 2025, she was invited by Fendi to develop Fonderia Fendi, presented during Design Miami/ in collaboration with historic Italian foundries and artisans.
For Blēo, Conie Vallese extends her practice into architectural surfaces through a tile collection inspired by landscape, repetition and the subtle variations found in handmade ceramics. The collection reflects her interest in rhythm, colour and natural imperfection, creating surfaces that feel calm, tactile and deeply connected to their surroundings.
