Conie Vallese

Conie Vallese

Constanza “Conie” Vallese is an Argentinian artist and designer working across objects, furniture, and sculpture in bronze, glass, ceramics, textiles, and silver. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, her practice is centred on form, material, and process, often informed by flowers, natural structures, and patterns found in the landscape. Her work moves between the functional and the sculptural, with a consistent focus on proportion, material presence, and the relationship between strength and fragility. She has collaborated with Danish jeweller Orit Elhanati on sterling silver cutlery and objects, and has exhibited in New York, Milan and Paris. In 2025, she was invited by Fendi to develop Fonderia Fendi, presented at Design Miami/ 2025, in collaboration with historic Italian ateliers.

Tiles by Conie Vallese

Shaped by the contrasts of an island landscape, the collection draws on light, weather, and material over time. Sea and sky, stone and earth inform the palette, where colour is shaped by exposure rather than surface effect. Subtle variations in surface and tone give each tile a clear presence. The palette moves between mineral blues, softened greens, darker reds and browns, stone greys, and pale light-responsive tones, developed to support architecture and create spaces that feel grounded and calm.
