Margaret Howell x Blēo in London

For three weeks in November 2024, Margaret Howell presented her first collaboration with Blēo across both London stores on Wigmore Street and Fulham Road. The installation introduced the Coastline collection, a palette developed by the British designer in collaboration with Blēo, bringing together architecture, colour and material in the context of retail.

At the Fulham Road store, the presentation extended beyond paint colours. Ten personal photographs by Margaret Howell were exhibited alongside the palette, offering insight into the references, landscapes and observations that informed the development of Coastline.

The installation explored how colour can shape the experience of a space through subtle tonal variation and carefully composed surfaces. Applied throughout the stores, the palette reflected Margaret Howell's longstanding appreciation for natural light, honest materials and quiet permanence.
