Launch Event: Muller Van Severen × Blēo

During 3daysofdesign 2025, Blēo celebrated the launch of its new tile collection with Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen, welcoming architects, designers, creatives and friends to its showroom and studio on Borgergade 20 in central Copenhagen.

Developed in close collaboration with Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen, the collection consists of twelve handmade tiles that extend the duo's long-established approach to colour across architectural surfaces. Known for working with the same recognisable family of colours throughout their furniture and object collections, Muller Van Severen translated this visual language into a series of tiles that explore colour through glaze, texture and subtle variation.

For the launch, the collection was presented as a series of carefully composed wall installations throughout the showroom, allowing visitors to experience the colours, handmade glazes and changing reflections at architectural scale. Rather than displaying individual samples, the installation demonstrated how the tiles work together as complete compositions, responding to daylight and revealing new nuances throughout the space.

The installations remained on display throughout the summer, inviting visitors to experience the collection beyond the launch event and explore the relationship between colour, tiles and architecture firsthand.
