In Japanese, “Te” means hand and “Zawari” refers to touch and feel. For Keiji Ashizawa Design, materials are central to the design process. Though colour itself cannot be touched, this palette seeks to evoke texture through tone — bringing the tactile essence of craftsmanship into each shade. Each colour is designed to respond to light and space with quiet clarity, echoing the atmosphere of Ashizawa’s architecture and interiors.
