Shared Matter, Milan Design Week 2026
For Milan Design Week 2026, Blēo was part of Shared Matter, an exhibition presented by Presence Switzerland and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia Design, bringing together six emerging Swiss designers and studios.
The exhibition explored material, process and collaboration through a shared spatial setting, with scenography connecting the individual works across the exhibition.
Colour formed an integral part of the exhibition design. Nearly 400 m² of the space was painted in GO HA 02 Mirror Base by Gonzalez Haase AAS for Blēo. The muted, reflective tone responds to changing light throughout the space and provides a consistent backdrop for the works on display.
Used at architectural scale, Mirror Base demonstrates how a single paint colour can establish continuity across a large exhibition environment while allowing individual objects and materials to remain distinct.
