Byredo in LA painted in colours designed by Halleroed for Blēo Collective

Byredo Store in Los Angeles

Located in Los Angeles, the Byredo store explores the balance between refined materials, sculptural forms and expressive colour. Designed by Halleroed, the interior combines natural textures with carefully composed architectural surfaces, creating a retail environment that feels both intimate and distinctive.

Throughout the store, HA RO 02 Chinese Lacquer and HA RO 04 Purple by Halleroed establish a bold yet balanced colour palette. Applied across selected architectural elements, the two colours introduce depth and contrast while complementing the raw materiality of stone, metal and natural finishes. Together, they demonstrate how colour can define atmosphere without overwhelming the space.

Rather than separating product displays from the architecture, colour becomes part of the overall spatial composition, guiding movement through the store and reinforcing Byredo's understated approach to luxury retail. The restrained palette allows fragrance, objects and materials to remain the focal point while creating a memorable and immersive customer experience.

The project demonstrates Halleroed's approach to architectural colour, where carefully composed hues strengthen the relationship between material, light and interior architecture.
