Everyday Care

Raw Lava Stone requires only simple day-to-day maintenance. For routine cleaning, use warm water together with a pH-neutral cleaner formulated for natural stone. Avoid allowing water or cleaning products to remain on the surface for extended periods.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Do not use acidic, alkaline or abrasive cleaning products, bleach, vinegar or cleaners containing harsh chemicals, as these may affect both the stone and the sealer. Likewise, avoid wire brushes, abrasive pads or sharp tools that may scratch the surface.

Stains & Spills

Although sealed, Raw Lava Stone remains a natural material. Oil, wine, coffee, citrus juices and other strongly coloured liquids should be removed as soon as possible to minimise the risk of staining. For more stubborn marks, use a cleaner specifically developed for natural stone and always test any product on an inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.

Long-Term Maintenance

Over time, Raw Lava Stone develops a natural patina through everyday use. This is a normal characteristic of the material and contributes to its appearance. Depending on the level of wear and the intended application, resealing may be recommended at regular intervals to maintain stain resistance and reduce water absorption. For commercial environments or heavily used wet areas, maintenance schedules may vary depending on traffic and cleaning routines.
