Fredericia Furniture in Copenhagen
Fredericia Furniture is one of Denmark's most beloved heritage furniture brands. It's family-owned, B Corp-certified and was established in 1911. Fredericia are key contributors to the rise of Danish modern design, deeply committed to transparency, authentic materials, and human empathy. The company produces classic pieces by Danish design masters such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Nanna Ditzel, and Kaare Klint, not to forget their many collaborations with contemporary designers – Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, and GamFratesi.
Fredericia chose CE MA 08 Platan by the renowned Danish designer Cecilie Manz for their showroom in Downtown Copenhagen. Both Blēo and Fredericia are close collaborators of Manz. Fredericia says:
"With Blēo's distinctive curation and collaborators, the new brand has created a compelling universe, one that helps you forge a whole environment using meticulously developed colours. The choice of colour for the rooftop of our Copenhagen Showroom was chosen based on the desire to create a calm background for the interior, all while bringing a sense of warmth to the space. Blēo and Fredericia have several internationally recognised designers in common, and thus the choice fell on Cecilie Manz, who has a finely tuned sense to sensuous, Scandinavian tones."
