Swedish design brand Fogia in Copenhagen
Fogia is an award-winning Swedish design company and furniture producer, collaborating with some of the most progressive contemporary designers of today, and was established in 1981 by Hans Rosander and Lars Fritzell. The founders’ developed a pioneering method for joining sheets of plexiglass to create striking tables and storage. In the years that followed, the company grew and began producing other pieces of furniture.
With roots in the Scandinavian design aesthetic, Fogia’s pieces are handmade in their own factory to stringent standards of quality and construction, using high-end materials and craftsmanship.
On using Blēo's colours in their showroom in Copenhagen, Fogia says:
"In June 2024, we, Fogia, worked with Danish interior stylist Maja Regild. We wanted to create an elevated interior experience for our latest project in Copenhagen. Fogia and Blēo share a common vision for durable products, in collaboration with visionary designers and architects: it only comes naturally that our brands would complement each other in the shaping of a space. Furthermore, we chose the colour palette by Norm Architects as their colours fit very well with Fogia's aesthetic and designs."
From Norm Architects' Returning to Nature palette, Fogia has used:
NO AR 01 Fading Forest, NO AR 03 Hazy Forest, NO AR 05 Brick Red, NO AR 09 Hazy Winter Fields, NO AR 14 Limestone, and NO AR 16 Winter Lyme Grass.
