Fogia Showroom in Copenhagen
Swedish furniture company Fogia’s Copenhagen showroom brings together contemporary Scandinavian furniture, craftsmanship and colour in an interior created in collaboration with Danish stylist Maja Regild.
Founded in Sweden in 1981, Fogia develops and produces furniture in collaboration with contemporary designers, with much of its collection handmade at the company’s own factory. For the Copenhagen space, the interior was conceived to provide a cohesive setting for the collection while introducing colour as an architectural element.
The showroom uses six colours from Returning to Nature, the palette developed by Norm Architects for Blēo: NO AR 01 Fading Forest, NO AR 03 Hazy Forest, NO AR 05 Brick Red, NO AR 09 Hazy Winter Fields, NO AR 14 Limestone and NO AR 16 Winter Lyme Grass.
Moving between muted greens, mineral neutrals, red and warmer natural tones, the palette creates variation across the showroom while remaining closely connected to Fogia’s Scandinavian design language. The colours are used as a backdrop to the furniture, defining individual areas and establishing subtle shifts in atmosphere throughout the space.
